Google Docs: Study Schedule

Today I have been playing around with the google docs tool and finally managed to upload something. I have drawn up a rough idea of my own study schedule. My days are often scheduled differently but I have tried to give myself guidelines to help. Here it is:

  1. Hi Emma,

Really great to see the organisation you have blogged here. I have been focusing on how web 2.0 helps with my organisation. I have done similar to you but I have shown two ways of a timetable such as paper and pen form.

I am interested to use your method, would be great if you could explain to me how you created your timetable so I could put this into practice?

This has really helped me and I think this could possibly be another way web 2.0 could benefit my hectic life style.
I like how you have left time for rest and as I mentioned in my blog that 'Me time' is just as important to schedule because then your brain allows you to relax after you have completed your tasks. sometimes its touch to un-wind when lots is going on so this is a perfect way to do so.

    1. Hi Beth,

I have just finished reading your blog on organisation. I really like your approach and also might give your method a try. I think we are very similar as I too like to be very organised and am a visual learner so things such as diagrams and colour really help me in learning and retaining information (hence why i also used colour in my above schedule). I definitely agree on the un-winding time and tend to take 'tea breaks' when studying... Have a bit of a tea addiction now :)

To use this method I went to 'google docs' with my google account and clicked create document. This should bring up something similar to a word document that you can write text etc in. When you've finished click file>>publish to the web>>start publishing. Then a box should appear with a link (and an embedding code if you prefer to use that). I copied the link and posted it in my above post. I hope this helps and if theres any problems I'm happy to (try!) and help again :)

  2. Hi Emma,

Thank you I'm going to give this ago and seeing as this is a module about getting to know Web 2.0 a lot more I think this will help!

Yes a snack is always needed and a cup of tea :) when studying it keeps you going and energy is key to learning.

Please feel free to comment on my blogs I would love to hear your opinions.

    Thank you for your help!

    Beth x
